What a great event the Waterstreet Festival turned out to be last Saturday, it was a nice little jump start to get the town rolling again.  Thanks to the Waterstreet Hotel for putting on such a great shindig!  Great to hear this will be an annual event!!

Here's what BS has lined up for your live music appetites this week....

Wednesday, Sept 27 - BS Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi will be rolling from 6-8ish!  So come get out and play the stage that has launched so many performers!  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated, simply bring a smile and have some fun.  House instruments are available if you don't have your own with you.

Thursday, Sept 28 - The rock n' rollers of Southern Flood are back from 6-9pm as we continue to make Thursdays the New Fridays at BS.  Hobson and the boys are ready to light up the town once again, so put on your dancing shoes and come tear up the peanut shelled floor!  These cats always strive to work in new surprises into their set list, which gets the crowd jumpin'.

Friday, Sept 29 - Boooooooooo!  Yes, that's right kids it's Boo Radley on a Friday night from 7-10pm!  Patty and Michael are known for some of the best vocal harmonies around, write some of the best songs in their New 850 style that is leading the way in a genre all it's own.... and Michael always lays down some of the best riffs on a guitar around.  Now that's a Friday night in Apalach!

Saturday, Sept 30 - It's Estuary DAY AFTER celebration!  The folks from the Estuary are come in to put on a great party to celebrate the day after Estuary Day!  It starts off with the Flathead String Band from 3-5pm as Chris and Haden lay down some serious old time music with a sprinkling of bluegrass and folk.  Then, tie down the rafters as Wakulla Rising returns for one of their signature shows from 6:30-9:30pm.  No one can pour out the swamp funk groove like Wakulla Rising... it's going to be a barn burner of a night in Apalachicola.  The man himself will be making some of his signature BarbQ for donations, so bring an appetite!

Sunday, Oct 1 - FIRST SUNDAY!!!  Oh yeah, this is turning into a great monthly event. The day starts off with Gill Autrey playing a short set of classical at 2pm as he weaves information about the composers into his show.  We then transition into Slim Fatz for a set of blues and oldies in his signature style from 2:30-4:30.  Then, we have locked Matt Law in to close out the day from 5-8:30pm.  We all know Matt can and will do it all from the Blues, 50's..60's...any era you name it.  Top it off with his originals and we're talking arguably one of the best solo performers on the Gulf Coast.  We would be remiss not to mention not to mention it is also Taco Night.  Ramon will be cooking some of his signature Tacos to benefit the Panhandle Players starting at 6pm.   There is always a line, so head in early!  Great music...great eats!

This leads us into a sneak peak at the following week....yup It's ApalachOktoberfest 2017 from Oct 6-8pm!  A three day event with live music and food...and beer...and lotza beer!
