Lee does acoustic classic rock, originals, and old country and blues like none other. If you took Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Stevie Ray Vaughan and JJ Cale, stuck them in a blender and gave them a 6-string - that's Lee Payton. Come on out and welcome Lee to BS! Fri - Come kick off the weekend right as Melissa Bowman hits the stage at 6pm at Bowery Station. One of the best female vocalists on the Gulf Coast, Melissa puts her all into her free spirited and energetic performances with solid acoustic guitar and a diverse set list. By far an Apalach favorite, Melissa is sure to pack them in on a Friday night, so choose your stool early. Sat - The second annual "Pet Masquerade" to benefit the Franklin County Humane Society is on from 2pm till 5pm. Dress you four legged friend up in it's best costume for a chance to win a pet portrait from Jenny Odom of IggyArt. This afternoon event is to benefit the Franklin County Humane Society and will feature the music of Debi Jordan. Many games prizes, auctions and challenges will help to generated some much needed funding for this agency that helps our furry friends! Come on out and support from 2pm till 5pm. Directly afterwards, Rachi Ru plays the inside stage at Bowery Station from 5pm till 8pm. Rachi Ru captivated the crowd on her debut performance a few weeks back with her opera trained voice gracing her intricate acoustic guitar as she took us on a musical tour of classics and originals. This young performer from Tallahassee is sure to be a musical force to be reckoned with in the coming years. It's a pleasure to have this caliber of talent on the BS stage!
