It's a fun week coming up with some great variety.... Tue - DEBUT ALERT! Lori Kline brings acoustic originals, rock, country and contemporary music to Bowery Station stage starting at 6pm. A mainstay on the Tallahassee music scene fro years, Lori brings over 30 years of performing live to the stage. Wed - Open Mic hosted by James Frost starts at 6pm. Each week sees a new show as all levels of talent showcase their efforts. All performer tips go towards the Alligator Point Turtle Patrol for the month of October, so come on out and support great musicians and a great cause. Thurs - Banjo man Chris Matechik is back on the Bowery Station stage starting at 6pm. Along with being a great old time music talent, Chris wants to have a party for the food bank. He has graciously offered to donat his pay to the food bank (and we at Bowery Station will match it) but Chris would also like to call on everyone to bring a can of food out to his show! Come hear a unique musical talent, and contribute to a great cause. Fri - Dud Lee Dew Rite, a featured artist at ApalachOktoberfest, will be starting their acoustic duo at 6pm. Some of the best americana, rock and salt are showcased by this duo that pits a strong rhythm guitar against impressive acoustic leads...all wrapped up in some great vocal harmonies. Sat - Slim Fatz, a featured artist of Blues in the Lot, brings his slide guitar and sultry blues to life at Bowery Station starting at 6pm. Slim, an Apalach favorite, adds his real life humor to his tales told in his originals. Slim Fatz defines what the Bowery Station stage was built for. Look! In the Bowery! It's Music! It's Beer! It's a cozy dive bar with a downhome feel.....now that's BS! |
