Wednesday, Oct 19 - Open Mic is back on the BS stage from 6-8pm. Hosted by Matt Gardi, all levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated, just bring a smile. We would like to send our heartfelt thanks to the Oyster City Brewing Company for helping to keep the vibe alive while we transitioned to the new digs. As always, big things are brewing for combined BS/OCBC efforts towards encouraging live music development in Apalach...stay tuned for some super synergy.... Thursday, October 20 - Sit down. Take a deep breath. Start the weekend early, because BAT is on stage at BS from 6-8:30pm. The real deal in talent, and performance, come enjoy this incredible touring musician that can play any song, gets the crowd on it's feet, and is unparalleled with his guitar mastery...yeah, that's on a Thursday....get used to it. Friday, October 21 - SIX STRING SOUTH. SIX TO NINE. No, we aren't pulling your chain. It's on, and it's what Fridays were made for. Come on out and enjoy this full band of southern rockin' and country hitters that don't hold back one bit. These guys are quickly becoming known for their powerful performances that gets everyone out of their seats...or stools as it might be at BS. Saturday, October 22 - MAD ness is back! Music All Day! First, enjoy the sweet sounds of Jenny Odom from 3-5pm, for an afternoon that leads one into a night of debauchery. Matt Law, Ron Merritt, and Mark Grove, a group of unusual suspects, make for a night of fun and frivolity from 6-9pm. Frequently featured at festivals, come on out and see the real deal at arms length with some of the best music of the 60s, rock, and eclectic tunes you won't hear anywhere else. OK, so you think it's time to sit on the couch and watch some football, but, but but what's the BS dilly on Sunday? Slim Fatz, Sunday, October 23, 4-7pm. Yeah, no rest for the weary music aficionado. Growling blues, with a twist or two, slide and resonator.....all with a twist of joyous humor. You read it right....Slim Fatz! and that ain't no BS.
