Apalachicola rocked this past weekend, as ApalachOktoberfest 2017 was a resounding success, even as we dealt with the challenges of Hurricane Nate. Too many people to thank for helping pull off this year's three day event but most notably the whole crew from Oyster City Brewing Company led by Clayton Mathis, (a man that can dead lift a full golden keg over his head) were indispensable. We look forward to ApalachOktoberfest 2018 with much anticipation, as this town event continues to grow.

Where to we head into the fall...well there is no letting up. Check out this week's lineup.

Wednesday, Oct 11 - BS Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi is on from 6-8ish. This weekly event has been a mainstay in local entertainment for years, and has fostered the development of numerous performers as they gain their confidence and stage presence. All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated. As always, tips for performers from BS Open Mic go to charity, during the month of October we will be supporting local Larry McIntosh for sponsorship in BikeMS, a two day ride that raises money for the National MS Society. BS helping MS. Larry will be present on some weeks to provide more information about the ride and the cause. Last week alone raised $150 for the cause.

Thursday, Oct 12 - Garnet and Soul featuring Mary Ann Hoffman join us from 6-8:30pm for a show of jazz, pop, blues and rock. This trio is packed with talent, and Mary's vocals are well known on the forgotten coast. Making Thursdays the New Fridays at Bowery Station as Garnet and Soul take the stage.

Friday, Oct 13 - Ten Pound Pancake 7-10pm. Not five pound, not six pound... but the full Ten Pound Pancake will be on the BS stage. Need we say anything else....just be prepared to dance your booty off.

Saturday, Oct 14 - How is this for a Saturday in Apalachicola...Wailin' Wolves will make their debut appearance on the BS stage from 6:30-9:30. You know to expect the best from the Wailin' Wolves as they play a wide variety of Blues, Rock, Funky Bluez, Southern Rock, & Originals. Come on out for a high energy show on their debut at BS!

Sunday, Oct 15 - Get ready for a party as Dothan's Dave Dale is back in town to lay down the Country, Rock and Americana from 4-8pm. Any generation enjoys the show that Dave Dale puts on, so get ready for a Sunday done right.

Yeah, it all keeps moving as we head into the fall at Bowery Station...your home for great live music in Apalachicola.
