There are rumors of a slow season finding it's cold grasp around the hopes of fun seekers throughout Apalach..... Not at Bowery Station...we're keeping the live music scene hoppin' in our fine little hamlet.... First, to start, we would like to give a mention to the first "Battle in the Brewery" on Tuesday from 5-7pm at Oyster City Brewing Compnay. Two musicians go head to head to garnish tips for chairty....then it's off to trivia at Tapa's. This week features Clayton vs. Gardi in an epic showdown of bravado to launch this new live music event on Tuesdays at OCBC. Then Bowery Station opens up for a hot week of entertainment..... Wednesday, Nov 30 - Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi runs from 6-8ish. As always, all levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated. This weeks tips go toards the Apalachicola Volunteer Fire Dept in a lead in to Janauary's Oyster Cook-Off! Rumors have it Dave Cerrato will treat us to a few songs....a first as good as "vineca peppas." Thursday, Dec 1 - Ashley Feller returns to the new BS stage from 6-8:30pm. This bright young talent keeps the crowd entertained, not only with her gifted singing and guitar but with a dry wit and clever originals. It's great to have Ashley back in the rotation of live music at BS! Friday, Dec 2 - It's an evening of local love as Hobson Fulmer kicks things off, followed by his full band Southern Flood from 6-9pm. These home grown boys love to play, and it shows. They've put the serious time in to put a set list together to keep the show rockin'. Come on out and support this burgeoning local talent! Saturday, Dec 3 - It's MAD. Music All Day. Cat Braaten leads things off from 3-5pm. One of the best female vocalists to grace the Bowery Station stage, Cat is a class act not to be missed. Then, watch out Apalach....it's the return of Johnny Barbato from 6-9pm. Blues, slide, rock and americana all delivered by one of the best, most likeable, dynamic performers to ever step on any stage. Johnny is sure to raise the roof this Saturday....somebody say...awww...**it! Sunday, Dec 4 - Singer/Songwriter Jace Smith returns to the Bowery Station stage once again for a show from 4-8pm. Jace keeps the crowd engaged with some of the best originals around, yet can always work in the classic cover that gets listeners clapping and singing along. Jace Smith....what Sundays were made for. The new Bowery Station has left the train and is moving into the season with an energy and excitement like never before.
