As we all plan for our own personalized Turkey Day of thankfulness, we at Bowery Station would like to extend our gratitude to those musicians that share their gifts with us on our stage at BS, and to those of you that come out and support them when they do. To that end, we have some great talent lined up for this fine Holiday week....... Wednesday, Nov 23rd - Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi will be rocking from 6-8ish. We have already had many folks in town visiting, or home for the Holidays that have expressed interest in getting on stage this week, so we expect a fun evening of music. All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated, and the tips will be going to KUT, Kids United Together. Next month will be going towards the Apalach Vol Fire Dept. If you have a charity that you would like to have included in our cycle, please email us the suggestion at bs@bowerystation.us. Thursday, Nov 24th - Closed. But Big Turkey and Triptofan Nappers will be playing throughout town at numerous locations. Friday, Nov 25th - It's on. Things kick off with the sounds of Jenny Odom from 3-5pm. Jenny brings her sweet voice and great set list of songs out for what will be a great afternoon break from a day of Shopping Small and Local. But hold on, Ten Pound Pancake will be making their debut on the Bowery Station stage from 6-9pm. Eric Pfeufer and the gang are ready to show Apalachicola what rock n' roll is all about. There will be folks from far and wide showing up for this show. Saturday, Nov 26th - It's the Turkey Basters from 2-5pm. This dynamic duo of Melissa Bowman and Tim Dutrow shot the lights out at Seafood Fest and are set to do it again. Match up an award winning Kricket with arguably one of the best precussionists on the Gulf Coast and it is on. But this day isn't for the casual live music fans because we have 'em lined up. What's more fitting to follow the Turkey Basters than....you got that right.....Dirty Bird & the Flu from 6-9pm. Kyle and Boys are ready to roll for their return to the Bowery Station stage. Gte ready to rock, funk and groove your way into a Saturday night! Sunday, Nov 27th - OK, we'll give you a moment to catch your breath, as we don't start it back up until 4pm. Kim Thomas and George Boggs share some handmade harmonies and instrumental bluegrass, gospel, and country music with us from 4-8pm. This Duo is indicative of the high level of talent that finds it's way down from Tally, and will be a great way to relax and close out a hard fought Holiday weekend of live music and frivolity. So in closing, we again would like to express our heartfelt thanks to musicians and customers alike. We look forward to working with everyone to continue to develop the live music scene in our new location, and we thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our work in progress of building out BS! Enjoy a belly full of bird! Matt and Lisa |
