We hope everyone is doing their stomach stretching exercises as we approach Turkey Day, and as such Bowery Station will be closed on Thanksgiving....however, that doesn't mean we didn't stuff the rest of the week with some of the tastiest live music gibblets around.... Wednesday, Nov 22 - BS Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi rolls from 6-8ish. This weekly event has been a mainstay in local entertainment for years, and has fostered the development of numerous performers as they gain their confidence and stage presence. All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated. As always, tips for performers from BS Open Mic go to charity, during the month of November we would like to help out our friends at the Panhandle Players, who are working diligently to provide the area with a great new auditorium to host their plays and other performances. Thursday, Nov 23 - CLOSED .... Happy Thanksgiving! Eat up and nap well... big weekend to follow. Friday, Nov 24 - Who better to kick off Thanksgiving weekend than the TurkeyBasters from 2:30-5:30! Melissa Bowman and Tim Dutrow always put on an energetic performance and we are excited to get them back for one of the best days of the year! Following that dynamic duo is our friends Boo Radley from 6:30-9:30pm! Michael and Patty bring their intricate guitar, fantastic harmonies, and well written originals to the stage and always give it 100% to the resounding Boooooooos from the audience!! A Friday meant for shaking off the tryptophan! Saturday, Nov 25 - Abby Iggy starts off the day from 3-5pm with her rhythmic guitar style and dynamic vocals, mixing originals throughout her set of well chosen covers. Then it's game on as the Jerry Thigpen Trio returns for a night of rockin' from 6:30-9:30pm. Masters at covers of your favorite rock, blues and old classics, it's their originals that are the highlight of their hard hitting shows that get the crowd jumpin'. Sunday, Nov 26 - We are pleased to have Sam and Dave back at Bowery Station for a show starting at 5pm. BS is honored to be a stop on their "Nowhere to Nowhere" Tour 2017/2018! Dave will be jammin' out his creative originals as Sam backs him with a well played harmonica, but both being consummate performers, you never know what to expect.
