Wow, what a great week this is going to be, culminating with The Bowery Music Revival on Memorial Day weekend.

Let's see how this musical deck of cacaphonious cards will be dealt.....

Sunday, May 22nd - Debut Alert!  Syrrup will be joining us for Sunday Matinee Music from 3-7pm.  This Memphis group with Tally ties brings a soulful feel to their original jazz and alternative set list.  We look forward to a great afternoon vibe....and please take note, our Sunday Matinee Music has slid a bit later in the day with the sun.

Monday, May 23rd - Less Americans bring their punk, ska and rock n roll back to the BS stage for a homebrew show by locals Mike and Nik from 6-8pm.  They always bring a few surprises in their bag of songs as they hone the set list for a great evening of music.

Tuesday, May 24th - Lori Cline will be joining us for a show from 6-8pm.  One of the areas finest female performers, Lori puts on a captivating performance with a wide array of songs, accented by her strong vocals.

Wednesday, May 25th - Open Mic hosted by James Frost rolls from 6-8pm, followed up by Open Jam from 8-9pm.  All Open Mic performer tips for the month of May will be going to Supporters of the St. Vincent Island National Wildlife Refuge.

Now...onto the Bowery Revival....we've put together a multiday festival featuring many of the performing artists that have been with us from the beginning and have helped create the vibe that is BS!  Let's start with.....

Thursday, May 26th - Slim Fatz brings his slide, resonator, and gritty blues onto the BS stage from 6-8pm.  Slim was one of the first, and our Happy Hour hat has the signatures of many who attended his first show back when we first opened.  Slim enhances his music with a dry wit, and a light hearted stage presence.

Friday, May 27th - Dirty Bird & the Flu featuring Dave Rodock (formerly of Jimmy James & the Hot Grease Band) will be setting the stage on fire from 6-9:30pm.  Soulful blues, funk, gospel, neo-soul, jazz, and improv are the order of the day when these cats lay it down.  The joint will be jumpin'.

Saturday, May 28th - Three of the areas greatest talents are showcased during a full day of music.  Brian Bowen brings his salty americana originals to the stage to kick things off from Noon-2pm.  We follow up Brian with Boo Radley from 2:15-5:15.  Patty and Mike of Boo have been harmonizing on the BS stage for years with some of the best written originals and knock 'em out covers.  But hold on.... we rock out the evening with the one and only Bo Spring Band from 6-9:30pm.  From gospel to high energy rock n' roll, the Bo Spring Band pushes their love of performing into every show as the crowd eats it up.

Sunday, May 29th - The Revival continues....Turtlefoot featuring Matt Law and Ron Merritt, our featured performers from New Years eve, come rock out a Sunday afternoon from 2-6pm.  Bringing the 60s and 70s to life with well chosen fun rock n' blues, these guys always put on a do not miss show.

Then looking ahead to Memorial day, Robert E, Jenny Odom and Matt Gardi will be putting on a mix of homebrewed BS music from 2-8pm.  It's just gonna be a fun day of tunes by folks who have been cutting their teeth on the BS stage over the last few years.

Yeah...get your music waders on, and slide through the great tunes at BS!  Reviving the Bowery....one tune at a time!
