Bowery Station Music Schedule (May 17 - 21)

Last week was amazing, from the show Jerry Thigpen brought in on Friday, then Saturday, Chickfest 2017 went down as one of the best music events ever at Bowery Station.  Thanks to all the chicks that gave it their all on stage... Adriane Elliott for hosting, Abby Iggy, Cat Braaten, Ashley Feller, Savanna Leigh Bassett, and the ladies from Adventures of Annabelle Lyn and the Krickets.  Thanks also to Roy Ogles and Cait Snyder for preparing and serving such delicious BarbQ to benefit the Cricket Fund.  Thanks also to all who showed up to support some of the best female performers on the Gulf Coast!!

It will be a tough week to follow, but we at BS love a challenge....

Wednesday, May 17 - Bruce Graybeal makes his debut at Bowery Station from 3-5pm.  Bruce brings his 12 string folk and americana for a great acoustic show.  Then, it's Open Mic, hosted by Matt Gardi from 6-8ish.  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated, and all Open Mic performer tips for the Month of May continue to go to support the Cricket Fund which provides mammograms to men and women in Gulf and Franklin Counties.

Thursday, May 18 - Lori Kline and Terry Brand are on stage from 6-8:30pm.  Lori is always a pleasure to hear, but adding Terry to the mix will make for an exciting evening as we continue to strive to make Thursdays the new Friday.

Friday, May 19 - Mike Lewis returns for a solo acoustic set from 3-5pm.  We know Mike well from the Common Taters, and his solo performances are just as enjoyable.  Then, the Bo Spring Band will light up the stage from 6-9.  Is there any better way to kick off the weekend?  BSB is a band that is built for the BS stage and will be sure to pack the house.

Saturday, May 20 - Brian Bowen will be pouring out the salt as he laments about his Beach People Problems from 3-5pm.  Then, special tie downs for the roof will be installed as Southern Flood rocks out a Saturday night from 6-9pm.  These local cats always put on a show, and continually add special enhancements to their repertoire, and never, ever let you sit down for very long. It's Saturday...and it's Southern Flood!

Sunday, May 21 - Continuing the local boys done good theme...Clayton Mathis kicks off the day from 3-5 with his voice that is made for Americana, and an ever expanding set list.  Then, Sunday evenings may never be the same again, as Treble Hook returns for a show from 5-8:30pm.  We watch these guys blow away the room a few weeks back with a high energy show, unparalleled vocals, tight guitar and bass licks and driving percussion that takes you on a tour of rock, country, and southern fried goodness.  Paul, LD, Jeffrey and Miles put every ounce of energy into their performances, it's a show not to be missed!

Thanks again for coming out to the shows, joining in the BS, and supporting live music at Bowery Station...your home of great live music in Apalachicola...cause...That's BS!
