Wooohooo....we're weiners!  Apalach and Bowery Station took home the top prize in BooRadley's fundraising challenge, and that means that this incredible music duo will be writing a song for our bar, and City!

This week is packed with music and events leading us into summer, culminating with PaddleJam and the Reel Paddling Film Festival hosted at Bowery Station.

Tues - Abby Iggy breaks into her first full feature performance starting at 6pm.  Abby's musical growth has developed from an Open Mic performer to her first stage gig.  Come enjoy and support this incredible home grown talent with a magical voice!

Wed - Open Mic starts at 6pm.  Come play our stage, or jam in the green room with other musicians off the mic.  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated with all tips during the month of May going towards the SGI Cat Allies.

Thurs - House favorite Dean Newman brings his acoustic originals and lighthearted stage presence to Bowery Station at 6pm.  Dean's unique style is sure to create a listening room environment!

Fri - Belmont & Jones start a weekend of great music beginning at 5:30.  This Tallahassee based country-blues duo conjure up the early blues legends with an array of songs and instruments.  Returning for the second time to Bowery Station, it's sure to be a packed house as was their debut.

Sat - It is sure to be a day filled with great music, world records, and great movies as Bowery Station hosts the musical side to PaddleJam along with the Reel Paddling Film Festival.  Brian Bowen kicks off the day with music starting at Noon.  What a great way to start an effort for a world record on the water than with this Salty native.  Later, beginning at 5pm, sees Turtlefoot featuring Matt Law rock the house in honor of PaddleJam's world record flotilla!  Those who love Matt's solo blues and rock performances will be sure to appreciate Turtlefoot.

But hold on, now the kicker.  Bowery Station is pleased to continue on into the evening Saturday as we partner with PaddleJam to bring you the Reel Paddling Film Festival from 8:30 - 11pm.  Come enjoy these award winning films featuring a variety of topics from adventure, to fishing, to preserving the environment, all displayed on large projection screens throughout the Bowery Station facility.  This special event that keeps the Bowery Station doors open past 8pm will have a suggested $5 donation in support of the Franklin County Paddle Club and PaddleJam.

Come on out and enjoy another great week in the Bowery....now that's BS!
