It's getting warmer as spring approaches, and we are keeping the heat on for fun live music in Apalachicola...lots o' good stuff this week including our 4th Annual Italian Celebration of St. Patrick Wed, March 8 - Start off the day with Jeffrey Thomas from 3-5, then it's onto Open Mic hosted by Adriane Elliott from 6-8ish. All performer tips for Open Mic will be going towards the Friends of the St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge in lead up to our fundraiser on Saturday, April 15 featuring Matt Law, Melissa Bowman and the Currys! Thursday, March 9 - LD Hatfield is back with his classic covers, great originals and a baritone voice built for Country from 3-5pm. Then, pass the salt please, as local songwriter Brian Bowen joins us for an evening of great originals and your favorite classics from 6-8:30pm. Friday, March 10 - Matt Gardi starts the day off from 3-5pm, opening for one of the best acts to grace the Bowery Station stage, the Bo Spring Band. Bo, Lauren, Randon and Tim will be captivating the crowd from 6-9pm with dynamic vocals, and a high energy acoustic performance that goes unrivaled on the Gulf Coast. Saturday, March 11 - Molto Bene!!! It's the 4TH Annual ITALIAN Celebration of St. Patrick! One of Apalachicola's most unique events in honor of a fine Italian saint. The day starts off at 1pm with the folk and americana of Well Worn Soles. Melissa Bowman follows up from 3:30-5:30, and then Matt Law and the Usual Suspects make it something special from 6-9pm. Italian Sausages will be grilled up by our friends from Paddy's Raw Bar to benefit Franklin Needs, and Peroni Beer specials will be the order of the day! Come on out for some great music, great food, great beer and a fine tribute to a legendary Italian Saint! Sunday, March 12 - The day starts soft, as Gil Autrey charms us with his classical guitar at 2:30pm, but then hold onto your hats as Invented Truths hits the stage from 5-8:30 featuring Dylan "Ragpicker" Allen. We have seen the youthful energy of this incredible talent Dylan perform as a solo, but when you put a band behind him you know it's going to be a show! Live Music.....it's what we do....at Bowery Station....often imitated, never duplicated.... |
