The dog days of summer are upon us, so if you're looking for a break from the heat of the beach, come on in and warm up even more in the heat of the BS music scene!

Tues - Sailor Larry kicks off June with songs from the sea, sand and seventies at 6pm on the Bowery Stage.  Come kick back with Larry's lighthearted upbeat set list that ranges from Seger to Croce with a little Buffet mixed in!

Wed - Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi begins at 6.  Last week saw some great new faces team up with some regulars and irregulars for that matter.  It's always a fun time, with tips for the month of June going towards the SGI Volunteer Fire Department.  All levels of talent welcomed and appreciated.

Thur - Banjo Man Chris Matechik will light up Bowery Station with old time tunes, folk, and blue grass.  Chris, who adds in the harmonica and has been known to wrastle up some other suspects for impromptu jammin'  always makes it fun to see what he can cook up!

Fri - Bluesman and Rocker Chris Skene from Tallahassee brings back his lead guitar for a show beginning at 6pm.  Chris is always able to please every generation with his set list and solid performances accompanied by his Bassist Kyle!  From the 50s thru today, Chris has a combination of voice and masterful guitar that is rare on the music scene today.

Sat - BS DEBUT ALERT!  Kentucky native, Alan Rhody, the writer of the #1 country classic, “I’ll Be True To You” by the Oak Ridge Boys starts his show at 6pm,   Alan Rhody also wrote “Wild-Eyed Dream” career breaking single by Ricky Van Shelton; “Trainwreck Of Emotion” career-breaking single by Lorrie Morgan;  plus songs recorded by George Jones; Tanya Tucker; Toby Keith; Lee Greenwood; Michael Martin Murphy and many others. His live shows are energetic and entertaining and he’s released nine albums of his own. This is a do not miss show at Bowery Station!
