This week kicks off with a special event fundraiser for the family of James Broyles on Tuesday.

Tues - Calling all musicians, poets and spectators - 6pm til at least 8pm, at the Bowery Station there will be a special Open Mic night hosted by Robert E. to honor James Broyles (the brother of Henry of Wake & Bake Bakery) and to help out James' family. All musician and bar tips will go toward their needs, especially Olivia, James' eight year old surviving daughter.

Wed - Open Mic night hosted by James Frost starts at 6pm.  All levels of talent welcomed and appreciated, bring a song and a smile.

Thurs - Hold on to your hats, the Sign Thieves are stealing the show at Bowery Station beginning at 6pm.  These young local ladies always get the crowd going, as they work the Yuke, drum box, and guitar.  Come support some home grown talent with impressive vocals and a great set list.

Fri - Slim Fatz 6pm.  Need we say more?  OK, OK, we will.  One of the best blues guitarists on the Gulf Coast, who adds in some of the best dry humor between his licks.  Arrive early, cause Slim always packs them in.

Sat - DEBUT ALERT!  Wil(l) Squared kicks off their debut performance at Bowery Station beginning at 6pm.  This two man acoustic group plays anything from Country, Oldies, Pop, to Rock.

It's about community, it's about the music, it's about icy cold beer on a hot summer's eve, it's about you...stepping in some BS!
