Happy New Year!!! So we all survived 2016, and we at Bowery Station are excited about filling the New Year with fun events, and the best live music around!! We are even trying to introduce a lot more daytime music for all you music loving day drinkers.... So how do we open up 2017? How about a taste of some house favorites, along with some new acts to the BS stage, check it out.... Wednesday, Jan 4 - Brian Bowen starts it off from 3-5pm for some salty fun, then it's Open Mic from 6-8ish hosted by Matt Gardi and Adriane Elliott! All performer tips will be going towards the Apalachicola Volunteer Fire dept up until Oyster Cook-Off. We had a lofty goal of raising $1000 by then, and we are over half way there. Thanks to all the performers who help raise the tips, and those customers that show their support to AVFD. Thursday, Jan 5 - Chris Skene joins us at Bowery Station from 6-8:30pm. Chris offers a set list that spans the generations, with impeccable vocals, and some of the most talent guitar you will see on the Forgotten Coast. Friday, Jan 6 - Abby Iggy (Current Champion of the Battle in the Brewery) opens the day from 3-5pm. Then buckle up and settle in for the Frank Jones Band from 6-9pm! This debut will be one to be remember, as BS welcomes this top Tally talent of dance driven soul and blues....yes, Apalach will be talking about this show of frequent flyers at Bradfordville Blues Club...it's a DNM...Do Not Miss! Saturday, Jan 7 - Jenny Odom adds her sweet voice to a great set list for a show from 3-5pm. Then, another Tally Talent debut....The Adventures of Annabelle Lyn takes the stage from 6-9pm for an evening of Acoustic, Original, Bluegrass, Folk, Blues and Swing music played on guitar, violin, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, double bass and lady harmonies. A day of ladies that can't be beat! Sunday, Jan 8 - It's a roast, it's a toast, it's a day of tribute to Boo Radley, one of the most talented, giving, thoughtful and kind musical acts to share their gift of performance and joy of life with our region. We hope to juice their fundraising efforts to continue their work in Nashville recording their album. Roy Ogles will be cooking up the Boo Burgers and BarBQ, BS will be sharing the proceeds of the days beer and wine sales, other musicians will be playing short tributes and donating tips, and Patty and Michael will be closing out the day with another one of their off the chain performances from 5-8. All to help these kids get 'er done! Come on out and support live music, and in particular Boo Radley!! There is no lettin' up when it comes to live music, serious talent, and the best damn beer and wine bar North of Key West!
