Seven days of live music at Bowery Station has been keeping things hoppin' in the Historic Bowery section of Apalachicola.  We would like to give a big shout out to John Solomon, director of the Chamber of Commerce for helping assist in creating and promoting vibrant activities in Apalachicola by posting live music on the Chamber's website!  Thanks John!! Keep up the good work promoting all the businesses and activities in our fine community.

Sunday, January 31st - The Krickets join us at Bowery Station for our 2nd Anniversary Party from 2-6pm.  Come join us in celebrating 2 years of live music and nefarious fun in fair Apalachicola, and come hear some of the most talented ladies that exists on the Gulf Coast and beyond...all at arms length on stage in our humble venue.  $2 Bar Bottles, and $3 drafts and wines will prime the festivities as we take in these fantastic four.  The best in LIVE MUSIC now on Sundays in Apalachicola!

Monday, February 1st - Tallahassee's Chris Skene kicks off his first in a series of "Month of Mondays" during the month of February from 6-8pm.  Chris has the honor of winning an informal survey among customers as to being one of the best performers to play for a month long series.  Come find out why people chose his great vocals and skilled guitar that takes us on a tour of oldies to today's blues and rock.

Tuesday, February 2nd - Ashley Feller brightens up a Bowery Station Tuesday from 6-8pm.  Ashley is quickly developing a local following as she choses one of the best set lists a female acoustic performer can offer.  Her lighthearted stage presence warms the spirit as her vocals create a listening room environment.

Wednesday, February 3rd - Open Mic sees the return of Host James Frost from 6-8pm, followed on by Open Jam from 8-9pm.  House equipment is available for all levels of talent to show their skills and have a little fun on stage performing for an ever growing crowd of Open Mic enthusiasts.  All Open Mic performer tips go to local charity, so come support a cause and enjoy some great live music.  The month of February will go to support the Apalachicola Riverkeeper.  

Thursday, February 4th - Banjoman Chris Matechik brings in his old time, folk and blue grass from 6-8pm for one of his unforgettable and unique shows that finds no better home than in front of the century old shelves that backdrop the stage.  Chris takes you on a great tour of music that only a true banjoman can do, frequently inviting just the right accompaniment of mouth harp, guitar or bass to his shows.

Friday, February 5th - WATCHOUT!  The Jerry Thigpen Trio joins us from 6-9:30pm for a show that will be shaking the rafters and have the crowd up and moving.  Having played their debut as part of our late night series last fall, attendees were screaming for more blues and rock from this dynamic group that features one of the best lead guitarist on the east coast.  It's an honor to have such talent on the Bowery Station stage, as we expect this to be a show folks will be talking about for quite a while.

Saturday, February 6th - Robert E & Friends take the stage from 1 till 4pm, followed up by Melissa Bowman from 6-9:30pm!  Daytime music will fill the Historic Bowery District with the warmth of Robert E playing a range from Neil Young to the Beatles.  Then Melissa brings her boots, guitar and a voice unparalleled to the BS stage for an evening show that never disappoints.  Defining unbridled enthusiasm, Melissa takes listeners through a wide variety of upbeat songs like no other female vocalists can do.

Looking ahead....get your recipes together for the 2nd Annual SPAM cook-off on Superbowl Sunday, February 7th!  Last year's contest saw over 30 entrants vie for rights to wear the coveted Blue SPAM jacket!  Then enjoy the Superbowl on our large screen projector...
