Happy New Year!  What a year 2015 was, but who is looking back with all the changes and events scheduled for this upcoming beauty known as 2016!

First, the new stuff.  Bowery Station is now open 7 days a week with music everyday, and still five days of the Happiest Hours you can wallow in, Monday thru Friday from 5 till 7pm enjoy two for one on most quality beer and wine.  All day, every day, enjoy $2 16 oz tall boy cans of cold beer.

Sundays will see live music from 2-6pm, and that my dear friends brings us to this fine day....

Sun - Dave Dale plays Bowery Station's first Sunday Matinee Music from 2-6pm.  Dave hails from Dothan, AL, having toured from Key West to New Orleans and plays some of the best Americana and upbeat, crowd participating bar tunes you can ask for.  Those present a few months ago when Dave walked on and lit up a BS afternoon know it's going to be a great start of our Sunday DAY music.

Mon - Banjo man Chris Matechik plays his old time music from 6 - 8pm.  You never know what to expect from this young enthusiastic musician, whether he pulls in special guests to his show, or brings some homemade instruments, it's always a great time.   ....and yes it is a Monday....there is now sumptin' goin' on in Apalach on Mondays!!!

Tue - Please to have Despair Knot featuring Dean Newman play Bowery Station from 6 - 8pm.  We have enjoyed Dean's acoustic performances before, but he brings with him friends Charlie Wilkinson and Rick Ott for a sound knot yet heard at Bowery Station!

Wed - Open Mic with host James Frost runs from 6-8.  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated!  Come sing a song, do a dance, tell a joke or listen to the array of talent provided by locals and visitors alike.  House instruments available.  Don't forget, after we showcase individuals, Open Jam runs from 8-9pm as any and all performers get on stage for an unpredictable jam session!

Thurs - Local phenoms Less Americans are in the house, playing their unique array of rock and creative punk from 6-8pm.  Mike and Nik offer some great originals while adding their own flavor to covers.  A show offered with under tones of subtle sarcasm, come enjoy Mike's great vocal range accompanied by Nik's intricate guitar.

Fri - Heather Gillis kicks off our new extended Friday hours when she plays from 6 - 9:30pm.  Heather Gillis is a 20 year old guitarist/vocalist from Tampa Florida. She has been playing professionally for over 5 years with various local bands in the Tampa bay area. Her musical background includes rock, country, blues, classic rock, southern rock, jazz, and soul music.  On tour promoting a new EP, we are pleased to have Heather play Bowery Station before her next stop at Bradfordville Blues Club.

Sat - Sweet Honey Hospitality joins us from Dothan, Al once again for our new Saturday extended hours from 6- 9:30pm.  Mike and Melinda bring their personal and vocal harmony to the stage, along with some great guitar and yuke!

There you have it folks, a full week of music and BS to kick off 2016.  Roll into BS for the New Year!
