We've shaken off the cold, the days are getting longer, and things are heating up going into the spring... fueled by great live music of course...

This is the time of the year when we start to expand the music line up with additional daytime slots with some new talent, mixed in with some existing favorites.

Wed, Jan 24 - The day starts off with Capt. LD Hatfield from 3:30-5:30 as he brings his solid voice built for country along with his well written originals out for an afternoon of BS.  Then BS Open Mic rolls from 6-8ish.  This weekly event has been a mainstay in local entertainment for years, and has fostered the development of numerous performers as they gain their confidence and stage presence.  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated.  As always, tips for performers from BS Open Mic go to charity, during the month of January we will be supporting the SGI Cat Allies, an organization run by Cathy Buell that works diligently to spay and neuter feral cats in Apalachicola and on St. George Island.

Thursday, Jan 25 - Randy Mimms, a featured artists of the Singalongs, is ready to entertain from 3-5pm.  His light hearted performance  has the crowd singing along, and tapping their feet with some of the best classics from the 60s and 70s, with a mix of folk to boot.  Then, Sticky Too is ready to rock your socks off from 6-8:30pm as we continue to make Thursdays the New Fridays in Apalachicola.  Tim and Jay, the frontmen of Sticky Tea always put on an energetic show, laced with great vocal harmonies and great guitar riffs....you know it's going to be good....good and sticky!

Friday, Jan 26 - Extra Salt is in order as Brian Bowen joins us for a Friday afternoon from 3-5pm.  Working on his new album, expect some great additions to his set list that you know are destined to be Forgotten Coast Favorites.  Then, the gents of Southern Flood will be rockin' your Friday from 7-10pm.  Hobsom, Ellis, Charles and Steve continually add surprises to their high energy show of classic rock and roll so grab your dancin' partner and get ready to shake it for an evening of Rock n' Rollllllllll!

Saturday, Jan 27 - DEBUT Alert!  Christina Christian joins us from 3-6pm for a Saturday afternoon of some fantastic female vocals as she is a Frequent Flyer at Florabama's and... has the Johnny Barbato seal of approval. Her debut album Silent Sea was released February of this year and received top notch reviews from music lovers all over the Gulf and Emerald Coast.  Then, welcome back the Highbeams from 6:30-9:30pm.   These three brothers with true passion for music play their own brand of emotive, high-energy Folk Rock and do a three part harmony with percussion and solid guitar riffs through a set list that almost everyone in the room finds themselves singing along to.  They bring with their energy a clear joy of hitting the stage that permeates the crowd.  There recent performance on stage at the Waterfront festival before the Krickets showed they clearly are in the same category with other high level performers!

Sunday, Jan 28 - BOOOOOOOOOO!   You bet.  Boo Radley is back on the BS stage from 5-8 for a great afternoon of the best live music on the Forgotten Coast.  Mixing some covers into their show of primarily originals, Patty and Michael are loved not just for their vocals, guitar, and songwriting skills, but for being some of the kindest, caring folks around.  Few make for such a perfect Sunday as Boo Radley, so come on out and enjoy.

That's a week of live music goodness so come on out for a show or seven.  Thanks again for all of you folks her support the musicians and Bowery Station for striving to bring a great variety of high level talent to our stage and Apalachicola.
