Kudos to all those that helped out at this years Oyster Cook-Off, and congrats on the resounding success it was. What a treat it was to have Brian Bowen and Sailor Larry on stage together for the first time at Bowery Station on Saturday, we will be sure to have them join forces again soon! This weeks line up is fun, talented, and of a caliber we are honored to have on stage. Tues - Local James Frost has been honing his set list for a great two hour show from 6-8pm. Reggae to rock will be the order of the day, with gifted acoustic riffs gracing James' diverse sets. Those of you who have had the pleasure of seeing James at Open Mic know, it will be a fun energetic night. Wed - Open Mic continues to amaze, courtesy of host Brian Bowen and the talented performers that are willing to play the stage from 6-8pm. Watching so many musicians grow and improve is a highlight that adds to this great evening as well. Expectations are that our back "green room" will be ready for off stage jams, and practice sessions! All levels of talent are welcome and appreciated, most instruments are available. Thurs - Singer-Songwriters Riely OConnor & Molly B. Moon will be on stage starting at 5:30. This duo has graciously agreed to play a full gig at Bowery Station, after having lit up the last few Open Mics with their great originals, superb vocal harmonies, and lively mandolin and guitar. Riely and Molly are only in town a short while, so this will be a "don't want to miss" show! https://www.facebook.com/rielyoconnor Friday - Drew Tillman is back at Bowery Station from 5:30-8pm. By popular demand we have brought Drew in for a Friday expose to Apalach music lovers. One of the best guitarists on the gulf coast, Drew will be sure to make it a hopping Friday in the Bowery. https://www.facebook.com/drew.tillman.37?fref=ts Saturday - Charlie and Dana Hunt-Black are back at Bowery Station from 6-8pm. These singer songwriters have written hits for greats such as Anne Murray, George Straight, and Clint Black. Their live show is one not to be missed as this gifted duo plays their songs with talent and heart. It's an honor to have them grace the Bowery Station stage. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Charlie-and-Dana-Hunt-Black/255818234501355?fref=ts BS....come step in it! |
