Here we go 2019!!!!!!! Happy New Year one and all!! As we roll into 2019, and begin our 6th year of providing great live music to Apalachicola and live music enthusiasts from the southeast and around the world..... Bowery Station is excited about bringing even better live shows to our growing legion of hungry music enthusiast. We kick off this week with a of variety... a variety of styles and genres... Wednesday, Jan 2 - BS Open Mic is back on from 6-8ish...although last week went till 9:30ish..but hey, when fun musicians keep getting on stage why not keep on rolling .... Matt Gardi hosts and has been usually starting earlier these days, as he gets his own set list in shape for Snowbird season. Thursday, Jan 3 - Shaken and Stirred, the duo of Carol Harris and Randy Mims, join us from 6-9pm as we continue to make Thursdays the New Fridays. Bringing in an assortment of instruments from guitar, to mandolin, these local phenoms also play a wide array of tunes from folk and oldies, to gospel, to good ol' rock and roll. Come join us for an evening of old time favorites with some of you local favorites, Carol and Randy! Friday, Jan 4 - Tyler James Arnold comes on in for a show from 3-6pm. Tyler brings the down home Louisiana sound to life with a well chosen set list, great leads over perfect sampling, a voice that commands attention, and tunes ranging from your favorite americana, and southern rock to contemporary gulf coast legends that will have you singing along. Then, house favorite Ten Pound Pancake featuring Eric Pfuefer, Bill Pandolfi, Todd Beavis, and Tom Corbin will be pulling into Bowery Station for a show from 7-10pm to hit Apalachicola with some of their notorious funk, blues, R&B, and groove in a way that only they can do. The joint is always jumpin' when the Pancake hits the stage! Saturday, Jan 5 - Forgotten Coast Troubadour Brian Bowen comes on out for an afternoon show from 3-6pm. Few performers can offer a true taste of both the music, but also the spirit of this area of the country. Interlacing some of the most thoughtful and well written originals detailing life in these parts, Bowen always gets the crowd tuned into almost every song! Then, are you ready to Rock n' Roll? Cause Southern Flood hits the stage for their first show of 2019 from 6:30-10pm. The boys have been putting in the overtime to bring an ever expanding set list to their performances and are excited to bring their high energy hard hitting show out on the town to rock Apalachicola as only they can! Sunday, Jan 6 - Cruise back into recovery mode from Saturday, and come enjoy one of the best jazzy growling bluesman on the Gulf Coast as Slim Fatz joins us from 3-5pm. We all know Slim has his very own style of both playing and singing that no one can replicate, but everyone can appreciate as he takes us on a tour from Louis Armstrong to his own captivating originals. Come chill out and enjoy a low key afternoon from 3-5pm with our man Slim!
