We ended a great week on Sunday with our Roasting of Boo Radley wherein Apalach raised $1115 dollars to support Boo's efforts to complete their album in Nashville.  Thanks again to Roy Ogles, who not only prepared some great BarbQ and burgers, but also paid for the food that raised over $600 of the donations!  It is always a joy to see so many generous folks from throughout our community come together to support live music and those that get on stage for us all to enjoy.

Let's see what is coming down the pike.....

Wednesday, January 11 - Brian Bowen is playing every Wednesday day from 3-5pm through the month of February.  There is no better way to spend a winters day than listening to this salty dog sing about the beach.  Then it's Open Mic from 6-8ish as we continue this years long tradition of musical debauchery.  All performer tips will be going towards the Apalachicola Volunteer Fire Department in lead up to  Saturday's Oyster Kick-off!

Thursday, January 12 - Savanna Leigh Bassett joins us at Bowery Station from 6-8:30pm. Savanna is one of the most talented female artist to play the Bowery Station stage with a show of rock, country, folk, and americana.  Fantastic guitar and incredible vocals...don't miss this Thursday.

Friday, January 13 - Cat Braaten and Tom Mason are set to light up a Friday night from 6-9pm.  Cat, who by herself is an incredible performer who has developed a great following on the Forgotten Coast, is joined by Tom Mason from Nashville, who adds in high energy leads, resonator, and great originals that compliment Cat Braaten's.  It's what the Bowery Station stage was made for, and it's a great way to start a weekend of music.

Saturday, January 14 - HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS!  Oyster Cook-off will once again turn Apalachicola into an all around happenin' town, with food, music and events across our fair little village.  It starts with a 5K road race and great food in the park.  Then Bowery Station sets up a day of music with the best of the best!  The Turkey Basters featuring Melissa Bowman and Tim Dutrow kick it off from 2-5pm, then we follow that up with the Bo Spring Band from 6-9pm.  The BS house will be packed and jumping for a day of great people that play great music.

Sunday, January 15 - Cypress Trio, a young group of talented performers that led of the Scallopfest this year, have a show from 4-5pm, followed up by Reilly O & Molly B from 6-8:30pm.  Traveling Troubadours Reilly and Molly bring a show of guitar and mandolin, with well written originals and great vocal harmonies.  Music that Sundays are made for.

Thanks again for your support of live music along our coast.  We'll see you at the show at Bowery Station.....the original....bar in the Bowery!
