Sun - Chill out and relax with Slim Fatz as he joins us at Bowery Station for our second Sunday Matinee show from 2-6pm. Deep growling blues, slide and resonator make Slim one of the best acts on the Gulf Coast. Witty and fun before he even picks a note, this will be a show you don't want to miss. Mon - Frank Lindamood brings stories to life with his resonator and deep vocals starting at 6pm at Bowery Station. Occasionally joined by other regional banjo or harp players, Frank is a one of kind show that keeps the audience captivated. Tue - Johnny Barbato of Floribama's fame kicks off a show of Blues and Anericana starting at 5:30pm at Bowery Station. We all know that Johnny defines showman as he sings his originals, tells his stories of life, and will never stop telling you about the time he opened for Matt Gardi in a Gulf Shores concert. Wed - Open Mic hosted by James Frost runs from 6-8. Locals and Visitors alike play, sing, listen, dance and sing in a groove of mystical delight. All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated, and don't forget Open Jam kicks in from 8-9pm as most performers join up for a serious raucous jam that saps the last energy out of any reveler! Thurs - Yes, the Alligator Point Gang(sters) return for a show that starts at 6pm. Let this group of seriously talented musicians light up the night with a variety of mix ups. Guitar soloist, duos, mandolins, and even spoken word just keep on rolling for a one of kind experience, and non-stop performance. Fri - DEBUT ALERT!! Jam band Custard Pie out of Valdosta, GA hits the Bowery Station stage for our new extended Friday hours from 6-9:30pm. We have seen what kind of talent comes on down from Valdosta, the likes of Jimmy James and the Hot Grease Band, and Dirty Bird & the Flu, and Custard Pie is right up there with the best of that scene. Bring your dancing shoes and every bit of energy you can Muster for the Custard! Sat - Oyster Cook-Off will surely fill the town with revelers, and we have a very special treat for a day long music event that will knock your Chuck Taylor's off. Youthful phenoms out of Tallahassee Rachi Ru, Chris Skene, Jake Dane and Adam Hendley are putting together a six hour concert that will run from 2pm till 8pm on the Bowery Station stage. This will be a do not miss event, as each of these performers can put on a show, from acoustic and electric, from contemporary to the oldies. Some of the best vocals are found in the likes of Skene and Ru, but combined it will be something that Apalach will surely remember. Ohhh, it only gets better dear friends.....it only gets better.
