Thanks to everyone that made Saturday's Parrothead Pet Parade such a great success as we raised a bucket load of $$ for the Humane Society and the Animal Shelter! We look forward to next year's Parrothead celebration. This week's music line-up is as solid as they come. Tues - Welcome back Jim Crozier at 5:30 for his signature edgy blues and twisted Americana. Jim's enthusiasm and love of performing live has made him one of the regions most sought after performers. Wed - Open Mic from 6-8pm hosted by Brian Bowen. Anyone who has been out lately knows that the BS Open Mic is drawing talent from all directions. All levels of talent are welcome and encouraged to play. Thurs - Watch out, Johnny Barbato is set to ignite the stage starting at 6. We are pleased to have this Gulf Coast icon back at Bowery Station, and look forward to his blues, rock and originals along with his stories of life! Friday - Jerry Thigpen brings his solid solo show to the stage starting at 5:30, playing his way through the genres from smokin' blues to lively Rock n' Roll. Get in the house early as once Jerry gets rocking, the crowd does not thin. Be sure to stop in after Apalachicola's Mardi Gras parade! Saturday - Matt Law starts an early show at 4pm as the SGI home tours wraps up. Matt is a house favorite and featured on the Live @ Bowery Station CD, as he always takes listeners on a tour of the decades and genres. Matt always puts his heart and soul into every song, from his originals to his covers, as the crowd is always tapping their feet and clapping their hands to his show! Matt will be playing till 8pm! How is that for a solid weekly line up? Come step in the BS..... |
