Bowery Station Music Schedule (Feb 7 - 13)

Bowery Station must extend an apology as this week's music line up misses a day of music.  Yes, that is correct.....we must put a pause for one week on our efforts to provide Sunday Matinee Music from 2-6pm because......

IT"S BOWERY STATION"S 2nd ANNUAL SPAM COOK-OFF!!!!  Sunday, February 7th....Superbowl Sunday!!!!

That's right kiddos, bring game because last year's event saw over 30 entrants participate, and the buzz is this year will see even more.  It's your chance to win rights to wear the coveted Blue SPAM jacket and have your name placed on the SPAM trophy. Contestants will be judged on both taste and presentation.  The winner will also receive priority seating in front of our large screen projector TV for the Superbowl along with an open tab for themselves and one guest during the big game.

OK, so we deviate one day a year from live music...to make up for it check out the music we have lined up the rest of the week.....

Monday, February 8th - Chris Skene continues his "Month of Mondays" from 6-8pm.  Come enjoy one of Tallahassee's greatest young talents as his smooth style captivates the audience.  Well written originals, and covers that span the decades are Chris's signature songs.

Tuesday, February 9th - Rachel Hillman joins us on stage at Bowery Station from 6-8pm.  Rachel headlined a full day of music at Bowery Station during Oyster Cook-Off to a packed house who enjoyed her impressive vocals, masterful guitar, and faux trumpet that would meld with her sultry vocals.  Come out for an intimate evening which will surely define listening room.

Wednesday, February 10th - Open Mic hosted by James Frost runs from 6-
8pm, followed by Open Jam from 8 - 9pm.  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated, with plenty of house instruments to use.  All performer tips go towards the Apalachicola Riverkeeper during the month of February.

Thursday, February 11th - House favorite Jenny Odom plays from 6-8pm.  Jenny, proprietor of the IggyArt gallery, shows us why painting is not her only creative talent.  Come enjoy her sweet vocals as they coast through a well chosen set list that fit her warm style and presentation.  Jenny draws a growing crowd from near and far so show up early for her show.

Friday, February 12th - Johnny Barbato & Company join us for a fun filled Friday from 6-9:30pm.  Johnny (of Floribama fame) by himself can put on a show, but when he brings out some of his guests.....you know it's gonna be one of those nights they'll be talking about the next morning.  Somebody say awww....**it!

Saturday, February 13th - Robert E. continues his Saturday daytime music from 1-4pm, followed up by Well Worn Soles from 6-9:30pm.  Robert E, famous for his original "Bowery Station Blues" plays the best of the Dead, Young, and unique oldies that keeps the crowd tapping their feet.  Then, later in the evening, Bowery Station welcomes back some of the best in folk, and blue grass in the form of Chelsea and Emerson of Well Worn Soles.  Great originals, great fiddle, mandolin and guitar, and covers from Prine to Cline make for a relaxed Saturday evening.

Looking ahead, Sunday sees the return of Matinee Music from 2-6pm with Brian Bowen.

Pick one night, or pick 'em all....That's BS!
