Congratulations to Barbie "Spambie" Everett for winning SPAM Cook-Off 2018, a repeat for the title, in a hard fought battle of great entrants.  She retains the rights to wear the coveted blue SPAM jacket, and enjoy the reserved SPAM stool at the bar when at BS.  Thanks to all the participants and those that came out to join Bowery Station for our 4th Anniversary Celebration!

Moving into year five, we have high expectations of great shows, cold OCBC beer, and melodic frivolity unrivaled anywhere in the world....

Wednesday, Feb 7 - BS Open Mic rolls from 6-8ish.  This weekly event has been a mainstay in local entertainment for years, and has fostered the development of numerous performers as they gain their confidence and stage presence.  All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated.  As always, tips for performers from BS Open Mic go to charity, and during the first half of the month of February performer tips will be going towards the Carraway-Anton Scholarship Program, a program devoted to assisting student performers at FAMU, FSU, and TCC, and then we will switch over to the SGI Volunteer Fire Department leading up to Chili Cook-Off in early March.  So some on out and belt out a tune or two for great causes and great fun.

Thursday, Feb 8 - Brian Bowen kicks off the day from 3-5pm with his salty americana, with great originals that are frequent flyers on Oyster Radio.  Then, we are pleased to host the return of Belmont and Jones from 6-8:30.  This duo always puts on a listening room show of old time music, played with heartfelt enthusiasm.  They perform the pre-electric blues songbook with the integrity, frankness, brilliance, and humor with which it was performed by the great musicians who wrote and sang it. The authenticity of their work is in part due to Jones’ vocal chops, which rival those of the great vocalists whose hits she recreates.  Always a privileged when we can get these two on the BS stage!

Friday, Feb 9 -  Dylan "Ragpicker" Allen is back for an afternoon show from 3-5:30pm.  With great vocals, fantastic guitar licks, Dylan always puts on a driving energetic show encompassing a variety of percussive instruments along the way!  Then, get ready for the return of the Slackwater Band from 7-10pm.  This group of gents coming from the Georgia Coast are a perfect fit for a Friday Evening with a varied set list that spans the generations.  This seven piece band is in it for the fun of performing, and it shows in the crowd's delight!

Saturday, Feb 10 - What better way to enjoy an afternoon after the Mardi Gras Parade than with Sticky Too from 1-5pm.  Get ready for an afternoon of two of the best vocalist and guitarists that take you on a tour of Rock, Southern Rock, Americana, and old classics that have you singing along.  Consummate professionals, these guys always give their all during their performances and it is reflected in the crowds they draw!  Then, for a serious one - two punch, the evening continues with the Jerry Thigpen Trio from 6:30-9:30pm.  Powerhouse blues and rock n' roll is the order of the day when Jerry and the boys take the stage, with some of the best contemporary originals and old classics that you know by heart!

Sunday, Feb 11 - Here's your Sunday Ticket.... how about a mix up of Bill Pandolfi and Eric Pfuefer for a show from 4-8pm.  Both of these guys are stand alone musicians, both vocalists and guitarists, but we intend to put them together for an afternoon of the best blues, rock, funk, soul and oldies imaginable.  Eric might even delve into some disco as only he could do.  There are very few ways to better spend a Sunday afternoon in February than when these two get their groove on.

Thanks again for all your support over the last four years in helping us develop a thriving live music scene here in the heart of the Forgotten Coast.  We look forward to many more years of serving up some serious talent for all you live music enthusiasts out there, so come on in, kick back, enjoy a cold Oyster City brew and tune in!
