Bowery Station Music Schedule (Feb 22 - 26)

posted Feb 20, 2017, 8:21 AM by Matt Gardi
Thanks to everyone that helped make last Saturday's fundraiser for Franklin County Schools Project Graduation a great success, all tallied, we raised approximately $1600 for our young adults.  Thanks to our generous customers, and our Open Mic and the OCBC Battle in the Brewery participants that raised a good portion of that.  Teamwork and Community....it's a beautiful thing to see.

All kinds of goodies to choose from this week....

Wednesday, Feb 22 - Brian Bowen leads off with his Salty Americana from 3-5pm, then it's on to Open Mic hosted by Adriane Elloitt from 6-8ish.  Open Mic tips for performers will now go towards Friends fo St. Vincent National Wildlife Refuge in anticipation of their upcoming fundraiser on Saturday, April 15 at Bowery Station featuring The Currys!

Thursday, Feb 23 - Matt Gardi and the Monotone Nun Choir play from 3-5pm for an afternoon of frivolity, then Bowery Station is pleased to showcase the debut of The Wide Open from 6-8:30pm.  The Wide Open is a band that has no musical boundaries and features multiple genres. Modern Roots, Soulful Blues and Americana is the backbone of their music.  A debut they'll be talking about.

Friday, Feb 24 - Sticky Too joins us from 3-5:30pm, these two gents bring a smile, fantastic guitar and serious vocal harmonies out for a lighthearted, non-stop show.  Then, the Chris Skene Band featuring Micky Abrams on mandolin return for a night of music from 6-9pm that highlights some of the best talent that Tallahassee offers.  Come enjoy these young performers play a range of music from oldies, to blues, to rock and bluesgrass.

Saturday, Feb 25 - It will be a busy day in Apalach with the Pet Parade, to which we match some of our best music...all day.  Dave Dale kicks off his show of rock, country, and classics that always involve the crowd from 2-5pm, then hold onto your safety hats as Ten Pound Pancake is back at Bowery Station from 6-9pm.  Eric and the boys lit it up back in January and we expect nothing short of another phenomenal performance from these high energy cats.

Sunday, Feb 26 - Another debut, this time from Coastal Georgia based Slackwater Band will be playing from 4-8pm.  This group of gents are a perfect fit for a Sunday afternoon with a varied set list that spans the generations.  These guys are in it for the fun of performing, and it shows in the crowd's delight!

Come on out and enjoy another great week of live music at Bowery Station....the original....bar in the Bowery.
