We have been enjoying some very nice February weather, perfect for sitting back with a cold beer at Bowery Station and enjoying the best live music on the Gulf Coast...

How hot will it get this week?  Let's see....

Wednesday, Feb 20 -  Matt Gardi hosts as BS Open Mic rolls from 6-8ish.  As always tips for our Open Mic performers go to support local charities, this week we are raising funds for the St. George Island Volunteer Fire Department in anticipation of The Chili Cook-Off coming up in early March, so come on out and support our friends on the Island at Open Mic.

Thursday, Feb 21 - Somebody say... "Awwww Sh**!"  You got that right folks and fans, the legendary and infamous Johnny Barbato is joining us for what will surely be a lights out performance from 6-9pm.  Get ready for a night of blues, slide, rock, and americana along with stories and tales as one of the areas most popular musicians gets the joint jumpin' like few others can do as we continue to make Thursdays the New Fridays.  Snowbirds flock to Johnny's shows, so get in early this Thursday.

Friday, Feb 22 - Jeb Tabb lights up the afternoon from 3-6pm. Jeb brings his Georgia roots to his performance with solid vocals of Americana with a down home feel.   Then, The Living Street return to Apalachicola for another one of their unique attention grabbing performances from 7-10pm.  The Living Street is an indie-folk duo who goes outside the box, trickling their way into a variety of different genres like pop, rock, and alt-country, sharing their well crafted originals along with your favorite covers with great harmonies.  They captivate the crowd as they always create that music appreciation atmosphere from an audience eager to soak up they energy and love of performing.

Saturday, Feb 23 - The Turkeybasters are set to light up an Apalachicola Mardis Gras from 1:30-5pm.  Tim and Melissa have combined their incredible talents to create a show that does it all... great songs, incredible vocals and guitar, perfectly played percussion, all wrapped up in a high energy show of live music love.  The Turkeybasters have arguably become one of the regions most popular acts and it is a pleasure to have them join us for this big afternoon in Apalach.  Then, what better way to continue into the evening than with another powerful female vocalist that can get the joint up and dancing in the form of Garnet & Soul for a show from 6:30-10pm.  From smooth and sultry, to jazzy and funky, Mary Ann leads the band on a high energy show that captivates the crowd.  With an incredible voice, backed by horns, keys and guitar, it is going to be a great Saturday evening with Garnet & Soul.  There was a reason they brought in the New Year at Bowery Station and we are excited to have them back!

Sunday, Feb 24 - Sticky Too....that's Teee OHHH Ohh,  is coming in for a show from 5-8pm.  Tim and Jay combine for a show of your favorite rock, southern rock, americana and a little trop and country as two of the Gulf Coasts most talented guitarists trade licks and harmonize like few other duos can.  These guys capture the audience from start to finish which is always the perfect recipe for a Sunday afternoon and evening in Apalach.

Thanks again for your support of live music, and of Bowery Station....without you bringing these top level performers to our small town would not be possible!

See you at the show/s!
