Last Sunday saw over 20 entries in our 2nd Annual SPAM Cook-Off, with Missy Miller winning the rights to wear the coveted Blue SPAM jacket for the next year. Thanks to all contestants for participating and making some truly remarkable dishes! This upcoming week in music starts with..... Sunday, February 14th - Brian Bowen takes on Sunday with a salty vengeance from 2-6pm. That's right, one of our judges from the SPAM cook-off is well fed and ready to hit the stage with some of the best salty americana the Gulf has to offer. Yeah, Sundays are more than just SPAM, it's matinee music featuring the best performers that play BS.....every Sunday. Bowen will make for a great fit to anyone's Sunday afternoon. Monday, February 15th - Chris Skene continues his "Month of Mondays" during the month of February from 6-8pm. Chris has been developing a great set of originals to accent his covers of oldies, blues and rock n' roll. Come enjoy one of the best young talents Tallahassee has to offer. Tuesday, February 16th - Less Americans are ready to hit it hard as they take over Bowery Station with a soulful punk rock show from 6-8pm. Mike and Nik always surprise and delight the audience with a unique array of music. Originals, and covers done with a flair that keeps the audience cheering. Few performers can blend the music and the style with such a flair as well as Less Americans. Wednesday, February 17th - Open Mic hosted by James Frost is on deck from 6-8pm, followed by Open Jam from 8-9pm. Everyone is welcome as all egos are checked at the door and we all kick back for a rolling good time. All performer tips for the month of February goes towards the Apalachicola Riverkeeper! Thursday, February 18th - Robbie Sellers joins us at Bowery Station from 6-8pm. Hailing from Alabama, Robbie puts on an acoustic show of rock and americana. Robbie had a warm welcome for his debut performance a few months back, as the crowd enjoyed his heartfelt show. We expect him to quickly develop a strong following here in Apalach! Friday, February 19th - BAT makes his Debut performance at Bowery Station from 6-9:30pm. No stranger to the stage or the Forgotten Coast, BAT makes his seasonal journey through the area, dazzling audiences with his intricate guitar, and fantastic vocals. Never at a loss for any request, each song is performed with precision and unbridled enthusiasm. BAT makes sure everyone is involved, and part of the show. Come make BAT's BS Debut one he will remember! Saturday, February 20th - Wil(l) Squared rocks the house from 6-9:30pm. This duo of chaps named Will put on a high energy show that ranges from Country to Micheal Jackson. Fantastic lead vocals and solid acoustic guitar keeps everyone singing along and tapping their feet. These guys from Georgia are consumate entertainers, and just all around great guys, don't miss their show. If you like live music, you can't beat the Bowery Station line up to satiate you fix on any day of the week, and don't forget the Happiest Hour in town runs every Monday thru Friday from 5-7pm with 2 for 1 on most beer and wine.
