We have had some great shows since we have reopened, and this week will be another festive and rocking one. Remember, as we slide into 2016, Bowery Station will now open 7 days a week, with music everyday, and Happy Hour Mon thru Fri from 5 till 7. Expect future music updates to be sent out on Sunday mornings....or there abouts! Remember you can always find our complete and up to date entertainment listings at bowerystation.us. Tue - Tallahassee's Lori Cline will be back at Bowery Station from 6 to 8pm. Lori has been playing the Forgotten Coast for decades and brings a fun energetic vibe to her acoustic performances with great vocals you can't help but sing along with. Wed - Ohhh Boy! Open Mic is back on from 6-8pm, hosted by the world renowned James Frost! Expect this to be a blow out time as the first Open Mic since break. Open Jam follows from 8-9pm, as all individual performers are welcomed to team up for whatever happens, and the last few jams have been remarkable! Reminder, all performer tips this month go to the Cricket Fund, to pay for mammograms in Gulf and Franklin County. Thurs - NEW YEARS EVE for the old farts! The day starts at noon with the FSU game, and we will try to keep track of New Years celebrations on the hour around the world. Then Turtlefoot takes the Bowery Station stage from 8pm right on through till 12:05am. Turtlefoot brings a fantastic array of tunes to their six member performances, with good old rock and roll and bluesie fun. This will be Bowery Station's first New Years Eve party, and it will be a great one. Reminder, it's for the old farts, so expect a quick wrap up after the ball drops, as we old folks want to get home quick to rest up for...... Fri - NEW YEARS DAY! Yup, the party continues with Dirty Bird and the Flu playing from 7pm till 11pm. The boys from Valdosta are back on stage for a one of a kind soul shaking show. They, along with the crowd, tore the house down last time they played with high energy funk, soul and blues.... So take the day to watch football and recover from the night before and then come on out for a night to remember! Sat - OK, OK. We know you are saying..."No Mas!" We need a break. But hold on, it is Saturday, is it not? Brian Bowen kicks off our first extended hour Saturday night in 2016 from 6pm till 9:30pm! That's right, we got one of the best troubadours to kick off our new time frame, and Brian will be playing his fantastic originals, and Americana classics right up till 9:30pm, and remember, in 2016, our doors will stay open till 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays! Then enjoy Sunday morning, and tune in to Oyster Radio 100.5FM at 9AM for Brian Bowen's new show, featuring the best of Americana music.... ....but hold on...there's more, our new Sunday hours will feature live music from 2pm - 6pm in the afternoon, starting off with Dave Dale of Dothan.
