So much to celebrate this time of year, and if you love live music, this week's line up at Bowery Station is just another reason to cover yourself in tinsel and dance under an oak tree of mistletoe ...

Look at this week of stocking stuffers...

Tuesday, Dec 13th - Huh? What? But BS is closed.  Yes, but in our commitment to bring live music to Apalachicola, Bowery Station is proud to sponsor the Battle in the Brewery in conjunction with Oyster City Brewing Company from 5-7pm ....in the brewery.  Come enjoy two live musicians go head to head for a cash prize and bragging rights, while the tips they generate go to benefit the Apalachicola Volunteer Fire Dept.

But then.....Bowery Station opens up for a week of goodness.....

Wednesday, Dec 14 - Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi rolls from 6-8:30pm.  When we say expect the unexpected, we mean it.  Last week saw some island boys return to the stage! All performer tips go towards the Apalachicola Volunteer Fire Department!

Thursday, Dec 15 - Apalachicola's own Charlie Sawyer will be performing from 6-8:30pm.  Charlie always has a wide variety of music to play as a soloist, and his light heardted enthusiasm always shines through his entertainment.

Friday, Dec 16 - The Flatheads featuring Haden Macbeth and Chris Matechik are bringing their footstompin' fun music to Bowery Station from 6-9pm.  If you like high energy Banjo and Mandolin, you'll love these salt of the earth fun loving gentlemen and their old time show.

Saturday, Dec 17 - Music All Day starts with Abby Iggy from 3-5pm, then the Dave Dale Trio is set to warm up an Apalachicola Saturday night at Bowery Station from 6-9pm.  Abby put on such a great vibe for Xmas shoppers last week, that we got her back for another afternoon of fun.  Then, we've enjoyed Dothan Dave as a soloist, who by himself puts on a great show, so come on out and hear his trio for an evening that will be sure to be remembered.

Sunday, Dec 18 - A full day of music is on deck starting with Cat Braaten from 3-5pm, followed up by Savanna Leigh Bassett from 6-8:30pm.  Cat's captivating voice, well done covers and unique originals always make for a great show.  Then what better way to follow up a fantastic female artist, with yet another fantastic female artist.  Savanna always puts on a great show with powerful vocals and dynamic guitar.  We might say this is a mini preview of April's Chickfest......

So, while you are out searching for that special gift for Matt, stop on in for a tasty beer and some great live tunes at Bowery Station....the original....bar in the Bowery!
