Welllllll howdy dooody live music lovers!  We here at Bowery Station are returning from summer vacation, refreshed and excited about the great music we have lined up for y'all in the fall.  We kick things off this coming Friday, Aug 31 with a Labor Day weekend of your favorites.  So, dust off the party dress and dancing sandals and get ready to shake your groove thing! (Note: We have added an additional Sunday eve show since our Monthly Update)

How does it all kick into gear?  Lookie here....

Friday, Aug 31 - The Turkeybasters are ready to cut loose with a show from 7-10pm.  This dynamic duo of Melissa Bowman and Tim Dutrow always put on an energetic show that gets the crowd movin'.  Melissa's powerful guitar and vocals are joined by arguably one of the most impressive percussionists on the Gulf Coast.  There is no better way to get the live music scene back into gear in Apalach than to kick it off with the TurkeyBasters!

Saturday, Sept 1 - Rolling into the long weekend, we are pleased to have Dothan's Dave Dale join us for a show from 3:30-5:30pm.  Dave's a little bit country, and a little bit rock n' roll, and a master of playing any genre for any crowd.  Everyone will be singing along as Dave warms you up for a hot Saturday night featuring Garnet & Soul from 6:30-9:30pm.  Mary Ann leads the band on a tour from old classics, then kicks it in with some soul, funk, and groove that gets the joint jumpin'.  Every time Garnet & Soul hit the BS stage they always seem to take it up a notch as the crowd sits in awe at the powerful vocals Mary Ann belts out, joined by the energetic vibe of the boys in the band.  We have selected Garnet & Soul for this year's BS New Year's celebration for a reason, so come get a taste of one of the best shows in the region.  (Photo Credit: Kira Derryberry Photography)

Sunday, Sept 2 - Slim Fatz is back at BS for an afternoon show from 3-5pm.  Slim brings his unique style of blues, with low down growling vocals and blues riffs and the occasional slide.  Slim groupies gather from near and far for afternoon shows with the man, as he appeals to everyone with a show that ranges from Louis to Muddy.  Then, keeping the holiday weekend of live music rolling... Tyler James Arnold plays from 5-8pm!  Tyler brings the down home Louisiana sound to life with a well chosen set list, great leads over perfect sampling, a voice that commands attention, and tunes ranging from your favorite americana, and southern rock to contemporary gulf coast legends that will have you singing along.  No better way to spend a Sunday in Apalach on a great holiday weekend.

It's great to get the wheels back on the live music bandwagon, so climb on in and grab a comfortable seat and find out why Bowery Station is truly your home for fresh live music in Apalachicola.   Fresh live music...fast, friendly service, great cold beer and wine, and an atmosphere that can't be beat...Now That's BS!

See you at the show!
