Fins to the left Fins to the right.... here's another fun week of music that culminates on Sunday with a Jimmy Buffett Tribute and FUNraiser for the Friends of the St. Vincent Island National Wildlife Refuge.....

Wednesday, April 24 - Matt Gardi hosts as BS Open Mic rolls from 5-7pm.  Please note the 5pm start time, and the 7pm end time for Open Mic performers as we have a Spotlight on the Mic scheduled from 7-9pm featuring Eric Mason.  Spotlights are our way of allowing some artists to play for longer than the normally allotted 3 or 4 songs of Open Mic.  Eric has played a few shows for us before, and we always try to find slots to fit this young talent on the stage as he is a great songwriter as well as performer.  As always tips for our Open Mic performers go to support local charities, this week we are raising funds for the Friends of the St. Vincent Island National Wildlife Refuge, in anticipation of our fundraiser scheduled on Sunday, April 28, a Jimmy Buffett Tribute featuring Sticky Too!

Thursday, April 25 - What better way to continue to make Thursdays the New Fridays than with a powerful female vocalist that can get the joint up and dancing in the form of  Mary Ann Hoffman of Garnet & Soul for a show from 6-9pm.  From smooth and sultry, to jazzy and funky, Mary Ann leads the band on a high energy show that captivates the crowd.  With an incredible voice, backed by keys and guitar, it is going to be a great Thursday evening with Garnet & Soul.

Friday, April 26 - Dylan "Ragpicker" Allen hits us up for a Friday afternoon from 3-5:30pm.  This young talent can, and will do it all.  As a soloist, he is one of the few that can fill the shoes of a full band with his energy, incredible guitar skills and wide ranging set list that can fit any generation and please any crowd.  Dylan always surprises with his contagious energy, and hardly anyone can stop themselves from tapping their feet or getting up and dancing!  Dylan has an incredible vocal range and always finds a way to work percussion into his shows in a one man band show that will surely rock Bowery Station right into Friday's happy hour!  Then, Wailin' Wolves return to the stage from 7-10pm.  Led by notably one of the most dynamic female vocalist,  Wailin' Wolves are a popular band that are known to keep people dancing all night long. The Wailin' Wolves offer a guitar led show featuring a tight rhythm section as Brittany leads the vocals ranging from soul shaking raspy blues to modern alternative variations.  Get ready for a hoppin' Friday night.

Saturday, April 27 - Cat Braaten comes on in for a great Saturday afternoon from 3-5:30pm!  Cat, being one of the Forgotten Coasts favorite female vocalists balances her shows between her well written and captivating originals and some of your favorite covers.  Her powerful vocals over the years are one of the reasons that Bowery Station has evolved in to the performer centric atmosphere that it is today.  Then, the Highbeams are back to rock a Saturday evening from 6:30-10pm.  Highbeams are bringing a very special show this time around! Traveling with them is their longtime friend Kate Coleman (featured on the song “You Are My Home”) who will be preforming in Apalachicola for the very first time! After Highbeams get the show warmed up, Kate and her husband Corey will join them on stage to perform brand new music by Kate Coleman as well as all new 5-piece band versions of several Highbeams songs! It may be the only time this unique show comes through town, so don’t miss it!  These guys always put on a great show with a growing fan base, with these guests it won't be anything short of a shoot the lights out Saturday.

Sunday, April 28 - Get your Fin hats on, as The Friends of St. Vincent will be hosting a Jimmy Buffett Island tribute featuring Sticky Too from 1-6pm  Thanks to our generous sponsors joining in the effort with Bowery Station of OCBC and 13 Mile!   There will be live and silent auctions, a corn hole tournament AND for all those Parrot Heads out there .... a costume contest!  Come enjoy a Wildlife Lager from OCBC, food from 13 Mile Seafood and a good ole laid back time dancing to Jimmy Buffett tunes featuring Sticky Too!  This will be an afternoon of fun and frivolity for a great cause!
