OK kids, if this week's music line-up doesn't define diverse, we don't know what does! Tues - Randy Mims brings his lighthearted folk and array of instruments to life beginning at 6pm. Come enjoy one of Apalach's home town favs who can span the generations while bringing a smile to everyone he meets. Wed - Open Mic hosted by James Frost begins at 6pm. All levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated as the crowd is eager to enjoy those musicians willing to bring a smile and a song. This has been voted Aplachicola's funnest event by a group of rowdy beer drinkers that were there last Wednesday.... Thurs - Susan David will be gracing the Bowery Station stage beginning at 6pm. Susan can make the stringed instruments jump to life as she accompanies them with her warm voice. Through folk, rock, and ballads, Susan mixes in many of her originals as well. Fri - Travelin' Light makes their Bowery Station debut beginning at 6pm. We have been working to get this group in for a long time, so we are delighted the stars aligned. Dee and gang bring a unique mix of acoustic and electric guitar, vocal harmony, mellow bass, and subtle percussion to original, folk/rock, alt-country, and Americana. We love originals..... Sat - Another Debut! Dud Lee Dew Rite will be on stage for an extended set from 4 till 8pm. Saturdays have become a fun music vibe, and this one will be no different. Singer/Songwriter and Forgotten Coast Troubadour Brian Bowen mixes strings and voices with Balladeer/Guitarist Sailor Larry to create a unique mix of contrasting styles. Like Oysters and hot sauce, the resulting sound is much greater than just the sum of the parts. Dud Lee Dew Rite offers up the widest variety of fun jams, from classic rock and blues, to hits everyone can sing along with, gripping vocal harmonies, dance favorites and trop rock. So there you have it folks, stop on in for one or all of these great performers and enjoy a cold draft beer! Beautiful sounds...beyond sensational....now that's BS! |
