We're stacking up a great week of live music with some outstanding debuts on the BS stage including a national touring act, combined with some of your favorites for a week of non-stop, knock jo mama out, face melting live music goodness...

Where to begin.... ah yes...

Wednesday, April 18 - BS Open Mic rolls from 6-8ish.  Get on up on stage as all levels of talent are welcomed and appreciated.  Often imitated, never duplicated, BS Open Mic has always been a magical evening of sharing and developing musical talent.  The point is to grow and challenge yourselves as musicians...and that you do!  As always, tips for performers from BS Open Mic go to charity, and this week we will be raising money for the Cricket Fund Beyond Diagnosis that helps treat underprivileged women in Franklin and Gulf counties, leading up to our Chickfest 2018 on May 11 and 12th!  So come on out and belt out a tune or two for a great cause and great fun.

Thursday, April 19 - OK kids, this is a day of greatness.  It starts with the dynamic duo of Sticky Too coming in for a day of tunes from 3-5pm.  Tim and Jay are both great vocalist, and both can jam the guitar for what is sure to be a rockin' afternoon.  Then, here is another one of those...DO NOT MISS shows.  National touring act Dirty Red and the SoulShakers are coming into Apalachicola for an evening show from 6-8:30pm.  Bringing the concept of making Thursdays the New Fridays to an entirely new level, Dirty Red & The SoulShakers are a modern-day powerhouse-blues band, built on old-school influences and a mutual love for the down'n'dirty style of blues that define the band's sound. A dangerously tight rhythm section, backing a funky, shake-your-money-maker groove, guarantees ladies dancing and good times! Top that with wailing blues harp, jaw-dropping guitar licks, and the unmistakable charm and soul of the towering blues-man they call, "Dirty Red," and you can bet you're gonna find yourself hooked.  Yup, they'll be talking about this one on Friday around the water cooler.

Friday, April 20 - Get your salt on as Brian Bowen takes on a daytime show from 3:30-5:30pm.  Bowen mixes your favorite covers with his own well written Forgotten Coast based originals that are frequent flyers on Oyster Radio.  Then, the Bo Spring Band returns for a show from 7-10pm.  A band that always gives their all, packed with talent, and that can get the crowd hoppin' through a wide range of genres.  The Bo Peeps come out in force to dance the night away when these cats hit the stage... you can't make for a better Friday night in Apalach...  than... BS@BS!

Saturday, April 21 - The town will be packed as the Antique Boat & Car Show is lining up to be better than ever.  Who better to play for the masses than Jay and Tim of Sticky Too who join us for a show from 2-5pm!  Known for their ability to play a crowd for a town event, we know they will have the crowd rockin'.  Then, the Boys of Six String South come back into town for a roof raising rock n' roll show from 6:30-9:30pm.  Driving rock, country and southern rock, with masterfull guitar leads, solid percussion and soulfelt bass on the backline, Six String South make for a dance your booty off and sing along night every time they step on the BS stage.

Sunday, April 22 - Bowery Station is pleased to welcome the debut of Shaken and Stirred out for an afternoon show from 4-8pm.  We have seen many variations of this talented trio of Carol Harris, Charles Elliott, and Randy Mims.  As Shaken and Stirred they feature Carol on lead guitar, to mix up an entirely new set list that will include many of your favorites.  When three talented musicians are excited to showcase a new dimension, you know it's going to be a fun afternoon and evening.

Thanks again for being part of the Bowery Station family, and supporting our efforts to bring Apalachicola and the Forgotten Coast a wide array of live music for your hungry ears, and dancing feet!  As always, we couldn't do it without you!!!

See you at the show!
