We are pleased to report that the Sunday Mullet Bar @ Bowery Station was a fun day for everyone that showed up. Big Shout OUT to James Frost for hosting the rabble rousing in the back lot. Thanks to Jenny for singing, Roy for cookin' and Ashley for bringing her mix. Which brings us to music as James leads off the week... Tues - James Frost showcases his love of music, talented guitar, and wide ranging set list on Bowery Station's stage beginning at 6pm. It's always a fun evening when James gets jammin'. Wed - Open Mic hosted by Matt Gardi begins at 6pm. This week begins our new effort at recording performers in hopes of have an eventual compilation of the "Best of BS Open Mic." All levels of talent welcomed and appreciated, with tips going towards the Franklin County Paddle Club in support of PaddleJam. Thurs - Frank Lindamood will be weaving tales of life into his resonator guitar beginning at 6pm. Gritty with a dry wit, Frank keeps listeners captivated with his unique old time style. Frank is one of those acts that keeps the room captivated. Fri - It's going to get a little salty when Brian Bowen returns on a Friday beginning at 5:30. There aren't many better ways to kick back on a Friday and start the weekend off than with Brian's guitar and harmonica while tipping back an icy cold beer. Sat - Melissa Bowman is on stage for an extended set from 3 till 8pm. If you are out for the boat show, a stop at Bowery Station is mandatory to get a glimpse of one of the Forgotten Coast's finest gems. Melissa's voice matched with her accomplished guitar is something not to be missed. Her talent is riveting, and it is sure to fill the house. Sunday...yup the Mullet Bar is on, coupled with an acoustic jam session featuring many of the Bowery's backyard best. Business up front...party in the rear. Watergate entrance will be open around 1pm, as James Frost works hard to erase the tapes! Come on out and roll in the BS! |
